How to reach us

By Train

As a hub for international North/South and East/West routes, Stuttgart is connected directly to many European capitals via the rail network. 

Visit the Deutsche Bahn website to enquire about connections and book tickets online. The station for the exhibition grounds is "Stuttgart Flughafen/Messe".

By Plane

Direct flights to Stuttgart Airport are available from numerous major European cities. For information on flights please visit the Stuttgart Airport website.

The venue is approximately 200 metres away from the airport terminals (just a 5-minute walk). Please follow the sign 'Messe/ICS' to get to the Stuttgart exhibition grounds. 

By Public Transport

You can reach the exhibition grounds quickly and easily via the local transport network.

For detailed information, including a journey planner, ticket prices and an app, please visit the website of VVS, the local transport provider. 

The nearest stop for suburban trains and buses is "Echterdingen, Flughafen/Messe", for the tram line U6 it is either "Echterdingen, Messe West" or "Echterdingen, Flughafen/Messe". 

Travel time from Stuttgart Central Station to the exhibition grounds is about half an hour by suburban trains S2 or S3 (S-Bahn) as well as the tram line U6. Please follow the (S) or (U) signs inside the station.

By Car

There are plenty of parking spaces available for visitors.

Visa Information

We recommend initiating your visa arrangements well in advance to ensure you obtain your visa before the start of the exhibition. Applications can be made as early as six months before the time of travel.

Need an invitation letter? 

The German Foreign Office has informed the German Embassy and Consulate Visa Sections all over the world that, effective 24 July 2013, an official invitation letter from the trade fair organiser is no longer required when applying for a trade fair visa. Furthermore, foreign exhibitors at German trade fairs who present an official exhibitor pass are exempt from the visa fee.
